1. Overview of Devel® PTFE Lined Pipe Fittings

Devel® specializes in developing and manufacturing a comprehensive premium range of Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) lined pipe fittings. This full spectrum of specialized components includes standard and customized Elbows, Tees, Crosses, Reducers (Concentric and Eccentric), Instrument Tees, and Blind Flanges.

4.1 Fabrication & Molding Classifications

To properly meet the high-reliability expectations of distinct industrial process sites, Devel® offers two highly optimized proprietary molding processes:

  1. Isostatic Molding Process: Specially suited for geometrically complex and multi-directional flows such as Tees, Crosses, and various customized complex piping manifolds. This engineering methodology ensures completely uniform liner wall thickness across all interior curves, avoiding thin spots and eliminating any concentrated internal stress points during thermal expansion cycles.
  2. Compression Tight-Lining Process: Engineered specifically for straight pipe spools and large-radius standard elbows. This method guarantees that the fabricated fluoropolymer liner clings tightly and rigidly to the prepared inner carbon or stainless steel wall surface, providing spectacular long-term resistance against thermal shock and violent temperature cycling.

Devel® Engineering Guideline & Warning:
For critical industrial applications subject to complex, severe combined working environments—specifically involving rapid high-thermal fluctuations, continuous full negative vacuum states, or fluid streams carrying severe particulate abrasion—it is highly recommended to upgrade to Devel® premium PFA Molded Lined Fittings. PFA liners retain the identical universal chemical immunity of PTFE while delivering significantly enhanced structural creep resistance, anti-permeation metrics, and exceptional thermal vacuum stability.
